Aims and Scope

- update at: 10 Jul 2025

FPM focuses on the cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields of preventive medicine, with the core chain of "prospective risk prediction - precise intervention - policy translation", covering the following directions:
1. Disease prevention mechanisms
    - Molecular epidemiology (such as biomarker discovery, multi-omics integration analysis)
    - Early intervention for chronic diseases (targeted preventive pathways for metabolic diseases and neurodegenerative diseases)
2. Environmental and occupational health
    - Early warning models for climate-sensitive diseases (prediction of heatwave-related cardiovascular events and the spread of vector-borne infectious diseases)
    - Exposure blocking strategies for emerging pollutants (microplastics, nanoparticles)
3. Digital health technologies
    - AI-driven disease risk stratification (development of prediction algorithms based on electronic health records/EHRs)
    - Validation of the effectiveness of wearable devices in behavioral interventions
4. Health system innovation
    - Application of low-cost screening technologies in low- and middle-income countries (such as mobile eye disease screening, portable nucleic acid testing)
    - Socio-psychological mechanisms of vaccine hesitancy and policy correction
