Article Processing Charge (APC)
The article processing charge (APC) for publishing in Frontiers in Preventive Medicine is $100. This fee covers the costs associated with peer review, typesetting, online publication, and permanent archiving of your article.
Waiver and Discount Policy
To support researchers from diverse backgrounds and ensure that financial constraints do not hinder the dissemination of valuable research, Frontiers in Preventive Medicine offers the following APC waivers and discounts:
• Full Waiver (100% Discount):
◦ Authors from countries with a low Human Development Index (HDI < 0.55) are eligible for a full waiver of the APC.
• 50% Discount:
◦ Authors affiliated with institutions in lower-middle-income countries (as classified by the World Bank).
◦ Members of the Youth Quest Consortium for Disease Control (YQCDC) or other relevant societies.
◦ Manuscripts identified as groundbreaking research recommended by the Editorial Board and approved by the Editor-in-Chief.
Authors who believe they are eligible for a waiver or discount should indicate this in their cover letter during manuscript submission and provide the necessary supporting documentation if requested.
